Restoration can be a fairly straightforward thing, you might have lost some contrast, got some dust, or small scratches that need to be removed, or a very complicated restoration where parts of the image have been destroyed, got water damages, mold damages, or all colours have faded away, or you want to colour a black and white photo bring and it to life a bit.
